COVID-19: US Coronavirus Deaths Hit 1,480 In 24 Hours

COVID-19 has reported more than 1 million confirmed cases worldwide.

April 3, 2020, The COVID-19 or SAR-CoV-2 has proliferated to 204 countries. According to World meter, Coronavirus has caused 1097000 cases and 59000 deaths. The minute you read this article, deaths, and cases would take new numbers.

In the last 24 hours, the US has recorded more than 30,000 new cases of COVID-19 according to Johns Hopkins. The US recorded 1,480 COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours.

Still, with all essential and prudent steps like social distancing, the condition for the US keeps getting preposterous. Health officials would be well accoutered with more accessibility for the diagnostic test. No doubt, the integrated efforts have been taken to ramp up the country’s testing capacity.

A report published in The New York Times, Dr. Anthony Fauci, expressed concern.

The lead coordinator of the White House’s coronavirus task force Dr. Deborah L. Birx, Times reported, intensified the effect of coronavirus infection in the US. He said the situation could be exigent and without taking potential measures, it risks millions of lives, between 1.6 million to 2 million people.

The number of cases saw an exponential increase after March 5, from 96000 to one million. The first case of the novel coronavirus was reported on Nov 17 last year in the Hubei province of China and soon it recorded 60 cases by Dec 20.

The situation hoisted so horrendously, WHO declared Coronavirus a global pandemic. Now, China has enfeebled the coronavirus infection and cases, but still, preventive measures and screening are in progress.

COVID19 recorded maximum deaths in China until it spread in Europe and Other Asian countries. Initially, the mortality rate of coronavirus infected people was between 2 percent to 3.4 percent. But as cases increased it bogged down between 0.66 to 1.38 %.

Soon after COVID enervated China, it enshrouded Italy, Spain, Iran, Germany, South Korea, Belgium and now the USA. Since the first case in Italy and Spain, the country hit badly. Still, April 2, Italy recorded more than 14000 deaths, while Spain lost more than 10000 lives. The total COVID deaths in France has also ballooned to more than 6000.

The total number of COVID cases surmounted after it spread in the USA. The USA, Italy, and Spain have overtaken the number of deaths and confirmed cases in China due to coronavirus.
