The Rebecca Black’s Friday song and cheesy music video made her Youtube celebrity. But it started for her real-life ostracism and vicious online bullying. Once the video song went viral over youtube people mocked her.

She received unknown death threats, due to this she had to leave her high school and be ready for homeschool.

‘Nine years ago today, a music video for a song called “Friday” was uploaded to the internet,’ Rebecca Black wrote on her Instagram on February 10.

‘Above all things, I just wish I could go back and talk to my 13-year-old self, who was ashamed of herself and afraid of the world,’ she posted.

She added further, ‘To my 15-year-old self, who felt like she had nobody to talk to about the depression she faced.

‘To my 17-year-old self, who would get to school only to get food thrown at her and her friends.

‘To my 19-year-old self who had almost every producer/songwriter tell me they’d never work with me.”

What do you need to know: How self-love can change your life?

Rebecca, now 22, had Instagrammed a message dedicated to her younger self — who, she found ‘ashamed, fully depressed, and sickly tormented at her school.

In October 2019, she exclusively told Billboard about her bad experience with her viral fame.
